Hey everyone, Steve here; Sorry about the long abscence, I got lost in the nether. Don't ask, I don't want to talk about it.. Lets just say, remember how Douglas Adams said it's best to bring a towel? The man knew what he was talking about... Well, I wrote up a blog entry about why I no longer have faith in Blizzard. You want to read it? Go here, but be warned, I am not nice! |

Joe here with the latest from the weekend. District 9 took a well deserved first place at the box office, taking in $37.4 million, which is actually $7.4 million over it's budget (though with the amount of ad time the movie received before it came out, I suspect it has a ways to go before it makes it's money back). GI Joe fell to second place, taking in another $22.3 million ($98.6 million two week total). The Time Traveler's Wife opened in third place with $18.6 million; Julie and Julia fell from second last week to fourth this week with a $12 million take; and G-Force slipped to fifth place with $6.9 million. The Syfy Channel: Home of the Terminators and Mansquito. Personally, I like Ms. Quito. Bourne 4 and Arrested Development: The Movie appear to be trapped in script hell. Onto to game news: Blizzard reportedly will not be gouging it's fans. Reportedly, I said. And speaking of Starcraft 2, there is a brand new CGI video out, along with 5 minutes of Starcraft 2 single player...which will not have co-op, and will feature units that will not be available in the multiplayer (due to balance reasons). There's also lots of hands-on previews of the single player hitting the web today. |

Joe here... Steve and I checked out District 9 yesterday. Have a look at my review here. This is a great flick, well worth your time, though it's not easy to watch. |
